INKY JANUARY

As of lately I've been enjoying more monotype sessions at the studio - which is a surprisingly enjoyable pause from my usual oil painting practice. Funny enough, I continually find myself mesmerized by the happy accidents and beautiful moments both during the process and while cleaning up the ink mixing table at the end! Above is a sneak peek of a series of monotype that I've been working on. Below are a few inspirational photos of the clean-up phase, little bits of inspiration that will feed into future works.
